ASEAN Committee in Beijing (ACB)

The 2/30 ASC held on 16-17 January 1997 in Lombok, Indonesia approved the establishment of the ASEAN Committee in Beijing (ACB).

The ASEAN Committee in Beijing was established on 24 September 1996.  It was established after China was granted ASEAN's full dialogue partner status during the 29th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting held in Jakarta in July 1996
