Award Is A Recognition Of His Innovative And Paradigm-Shifting Contributions To The Logistics & Supply Chain Industry

ASEAN-BAC member wins Asia Logistics Hall of Fame Award

Singaporean leading entrepreneur and ASEAN-Business Advisory Council member, Robert Yap, wins a prestigious Asian award. Mr. Yap, YCH Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, was today awarded the prestigious Asia Logistics Hall of Fame by Lloyd's FTB, in recognition for his passion, vision, leadership and innovation in the field of logistics and supply chain management (SCM).

ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) is a private sector body mandated by the ASEAN Leaders to work with the governments towards creating an integrated and competitive regional economy.

Chaired by DHL-Indonesia CEO, Rudy J. Pesik, ASEAN-BAC will be hosting the first ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN-BIS) on October 5-7, 2003 at Nusa Dua, Bali-Indonesia in conjunction with the 9th ASEAN Summit.

ASEAN-BIS is committed towards encouraging trade and investment, highlighting ASEAN's fastest growing industries and most attractive investment opportunities in each of the 10 ASEAN member nations.
