ASEAN-UN CONFERENCE ON PREVENTIVE DIPLOMACY

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the United Nations have been holding an annual conference on conflict prevention, conflict resolution and peace building since 2001.  The annual conference is jointly organized by the United Nations Department of Political Affairs, United Nations Development Programme, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country, a member of the ASEAN-Institutes for Strategic and International Studies (ASEAN-ISIS) and the ASEAN Secretariat.
