PREFACE
The ASEAN Document Series of 1994 - 1995 is a compilation of documents mainly declarations, protocol agreements, joint press statements and treaties, emanating from various ASEAN meetings. The period covered by this document series is highlighted by the 5th ASEAN Summit in Bangkok and event declaring the admission of Viet Nam, as a new member of the ASEAN. Also included are the landmark documents on the Treaty on Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone and the Framework Agreement on Enhancing ASEAN Economic Cooperation.
