TECHNICAL OFFICER– HUMAN DEVELOPMENT UNIT (TO – HDU)

 

A Technical Officer (TO) is a specialist staff providing technical and secretariat support to concerned ASEAN bodies. He/she is also required to organise and service meetings, write reports and media materials, manage projects, and undertake research.   We are seeking qualified candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Preferably Bachelor or Master’s degree holder in social science, public policy, development management, or related fields.

  •  At least 3 years work experience in development and other social issues.

  • Having ability in appropriate information management system.

  • Familiarity with conference and event management practices.

General qualifications :

  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken);

  • Good analytical skills;

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office tools (word, excel, and preferably access database);

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team in a multicultural environment;

  • Able to multi-task and work irregular and long hours;

  • Able to travel, as and when required; and

  • Knowledge on ISO 9001: 2000 is an advantage.

Upon the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, the successful candidate will be confirmed for a 3-year contract. Selected candidate will receive an attractive package consisting of basic monthly salary (starting from Rp. 5,000,000), monthly transportation allowance, outpatient medical reimbursement, hospitalisation insurance, and an annual bonus of a month’s basic salary.
