TECHNICAL OFFICERS (TOs)

 

TOs are specialist staff providing technical and administrative support for the coordination and implementation of decisions made by the representative committees of ASEAN.  They shall assist in the coordination of ASEAN development cooperation activities. They are also required to provide technical and administrative support with respect to cooperation in various areas in the ASEAN region, manage the technical administrative support to the ASEAN bodies with respect to meetings, manage programmes and projects, undertake research, and perform protocol duties.

 

We are seeking qualified candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Preferably Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, International Relations, Political or Social Science, Public Policy, Development Management, Finance/Accounting, or related fields.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in governmental/international organisations or private sector involved in research, consultancy, and/or programme management, or other relevant experience.

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS (TAs)

  

TAs assist specialist staff in the execution of their duties, including servicing meetings, providing administrative support in programme/project implementation, research, record keeping, and other administrative work.

 

We are seeking qualified candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economic, International Relations, Political or Social Science, Public Policy, Development Management, Finance/Accounting, or related fields.  

  • Minimum 1 year experience in governmental/international organisations or private sector involved in research, consultancy, and/or programme management, or other relevant experience.

 

General qualifications :

  • Good English language skills (written and oral);

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office tools;

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team in a multicultural environment;

  • Able to multi-task and work irregular and long hours;

  • Able to travel, as and when required;

  • Knowledge on ISO 9001: 2000 is an advantage.

Upon the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, the successful candidate will be confirmed for a 3-year contract.  Selected candidate will receive an attractive package consisting of basic monthly salary (starting from Rp. 5,000,000 for TO and Rp. 3,500,000 for TA), monthly transportation allowance, outpatient medical reimbursement, hospitalisation insurance, and an annual bonus of a month’s basic salary.
