Senior Officer - ASEAN Wildlife Enforcement Network Programme Coordination Unit
The ASEAN Wildlife Enforcement Network is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the post of Senior Officer (SO) – ASEAN Wildlife Enforcement Network (ASEAN-WEN) Programme Coordination Unit (PCU) to be located in Bangkok, Thailand. The SO will work in law enforcement and conservation issues in close collaboration with the Department of National Parks Wildlife and Plant Conservation of Thailand and will report to the Natural Resources Unit of ASEAN Secretariat. The SO will serve as a Desk Officer in close coordination with ASEAN Member States and relevant international organizations, in formulating and implementing programs and activities, mobilizing resources, servicing meetings, and providing expert advice to ASEAN Member States. Upon the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, the successful candidate will be confirmed on a 1-year contract, inclusive of the probation. The starting salary is US$ 3,000 per month. Other benefits include allowances for relocation, reimbursement of medical expenses, end of contract gratuity, and annual performance bonus.
