THE ASEAN SECRETARIAT INVITES INDONESIAN CITIZENS AND ASEAN NATIONALS WITH PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS IN INDONESIA TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION AT THE ASEAN SECRETARIAT IN JAKARTA
Technical Officer (TO)/Project Manager (PM) East ASEAN Initiative (EAI), Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) Unit
The East ASEAN Initiative (EAI) is development program to promote growth and security in the East ASEAN sub-region of Southern Philippines and Eastern Indonesia. It consists of a suite of five pilot projects, namely the Business Development Services Pilot Project (BDS); Custom Information Exchange Pilot Project (CIE); Maritime Logistics Pilot Project (MLP); Maritime Security Pilot Project (MSP) and Single Window for Investment Facilitation and Trade (SWIFT).
The EAI is a partnership between AusAID and the ASEAN Secretariat and these agencies will provide oversight of the pilot projects being implemented. Each pilot project will be contracted by AusAID to organizations selected through limited tender and monitored by a Project Manager.
TO/PM of EAI-IAI unit is specialist staff providing technical and administrative support for the coordination and implementation of decisions made by the representative committees of ASEAN. They are required to organize and service committee meetings, undertake research, and perform protocol duties. He/she will also be required to manage projects, assists in the organization of, and participate in, regional and national workshops related to Human Resources Development and Capacity Building.

General qualification:
Upon the successful completion of a 3 months probationary period, the successful candidate will be confirmed for a period of service up to 18 months. Selected candidate will receive an attractive package consisting of basic monthly salary (starting from Rp. 5,000,000), monthly transportation allowance, outpatient medical reimbursement, hospitalization insurance, and an annual bonus of a month’s basic salary.
