extensive knowledge and wide experiences, which they are eager to share with

Accredited by the Ministry of
CAHATA is targeted at training young Cambodians, who
have completed high school, for a career in the hospitality industry. It aims
to provide both theoretical training as well as hands-on practical experience
through real-life Work Exposure in the hotels. In order to produce well-rounded
persons; related studies such as English Language, Basic Computer Knowledge,
and Basic First Aid would form part of the curriculum. This will give the
student a head-start in his chosen career.
Hospitality Skills Programmes such as Culinary
Skills, Food & Beverage Service and Accommodation Operations are some of
the courses the Academy will offer to the students.
Attachment to the hotels is a core component of the
Programmes. Upon completion of the Institutional Training, there will be an
opportunity to be attached to participating hotels. Students will have to
undergo extensive on-the-job practical training in the hotels.
During the practical Work exposure period, the
student is expected to follow a set programme, failing which might mean a delay
in passing the necessary assignments and final examinations. Upon successful
completion of the required programme, a Certificate will be awarded.
Programmes commence every six months – in January and July.
