The Ha Noi Tourism College (formerly Viet Nam Tourism School) was established on July, 1972 at Ha Noi and has been constantly expanding since then. It had been belonging to the direct management of Ministry of Defence, at the time it has beared the name: “School for Tourism and Hotel Worker”. Later on, it has changed management by the Ha Noi Tourism Company. However, until 1992, the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism was founded, the Ha Noi Tourism College has turned into a unit of VNAT so far.

Over this time, more 10,000 students have graduated from the college. Each one has greatly helped to strenthen and developed the versality of manpower resources in tourism. Many of students who graduated from theg college are now holding key positions in tourism industry.

The Ha Noi Tourism College provides a number of training such as:

· Reception Operation;

· Table Service Operations;

· Housekeeping Operations;

· Foods and Beverage Operations;

· Restaurant Operations;

· Tourist Guide and Travel Operations;

· Language and Computer Operations specialized in Hotel and Tourism Operation.
