Invitation to undertake the Technical Assistance (TA) on Developing Bond Market Phase III for Lao PDR

We are pleased to announce that the selection of consultant/consulting firm to undertake the Technical Assistance (TA) on Developing Bond Market Phase III for Lao PDR, to be funded by the Japan-ASEAN Financial Technical Assistance Fund, is now open.

In conjunction with the previous phases, the Third phase for Lao PDR focuses on: i) the implementation of decree on government bonds and government guaranteed bonds; ii) supporting the decree on securities market and iii) conducting feasibility study for issuing long-term government bonds.

We invite interested consultants/consulting firms to submit to us a TA proposal (not exceeding 4 pages) on the topic together with the relevant C.V.s by 15 January 2008 the latest. To further improve the TA, we urge the applicants to come up with professional and innovative ideas to be implemented in this TA.
