THE ASEAN SECRETARIAT INVITES INDONESIAN CITIZENS AND ASEAN NATIONALS WITH PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS IN INDONESIA TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION AT THE ASEAN SECRETARIAT IN JAKARTA

TA – Web Administrator is responsible for providing technical and administration support in managing websites under the purview of the ASEAN Secretariat. He/she will be involved in the planning and implementation of the websites, internet applications, and Multimedia and Graphics Projects. He/she will also be responsible to assist in developing and maintaining the web applications and to negotiate and monitor web applications development work contracted to external vendors. He/she will also provide assistance in manning the help desk of the Information Systems Unit (ISU).

· At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or others with related experiences.

· Experience in dealing with a). web development; b). media online; c). management information system; d). knowledge management system; and e). multimedia application development.

General qualifications :

· Mastery of web programming language, graphics and animation tools, web server administration, web development tools, DBMS administration, content management system, document management system, and scripting;

· Excellent English language skills (written and oral);

· Proficient in Microsoft office tools;

· Able to work independently as well as in a team in a multicultural environment;

· Able to multi-task and work irregular and long hours;

· Able to travel, as and when required; and

· Knowledge on ISO 9001: 2000 is an advantage.

Upon the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, the successful candidate will be confirmed for a 3-year contract. Selected candidate will receive an attractive package consisting of basic monthly salary (starting from Rp. 3,500,000), monthly transportation allowance, outpatient medical reimbursement, hospitalisation insurance, and an annual bonus of a month’s basic salary.
